Donnie will be doing a refinish on my S7420BP. The trouble is....I'm having a hard time deciding what to do.

WHAT DO YOU THINK is a kick ass finish on this guitar?
I do plan to have the headstock match the body finish.

I thought you were going for a trans red or trans green finish....those would look nice. I thought about doing mine white pearl or ice blue but I think im leaving it the way it is.

A dark red trans finish would be very nice. :agreed:

+1 on saftey orange... like 'hunter' saftey orange.

Or, do a mystic paint job. You can get the kits at a Murrays or other auto parts store.

Well, I have been entertaining the idea of Road Flare Red from the old late 80s - early 90s RGs. That's pretty close, right?

Haha..

What is the cheapest I can expect for a refinish to Blue Quilt veneer top, stained sides and replacing the fretboard with Maple fretboard (that I already have) and refret? And where can I get this done? =[

work...in St. Paul
get a flame veneer on top, then finish it transparent teal...maybe get some wave inlays done as well...

I like the white idea, or black with a bright red body neck headstock binding
