Taylor acoustic treble knob does nothing?

I have a Taylor acoustic guitar with the standard Volume, Treble, and Bass knobs as an onboard eq and I've noticed that the Treble knob doesn't do anything to the tone as the control is swept. The sound is rather bright which leads me to believe its stuck in the full boost position.

Has anyone experienced this issue before? What could the root cause of the issue be? Any potential fixes?

I've done a rather thorough internet search with no leads, and of course I'll just take it to a tech eventually.
