Test-driving a Siggi Braun Griffin Fanned Fret 8-String

Siggi Braun sent his new Griffin 8 fanned fret model over to me for a review. I thought I should share the photos and some clips...

The poplar top on this guitar is outstanding. It looks like a birdseye view of the ocean, with tsunami waves hitting small islands. Never seen a poplar top like that. The quality of the guitar is great and it plays effortless. It took no time for me to get used to the fan (26.8-25.5).

It's loaded with a slanted set of BKP Painkillers. I recorded some clips:

Looks like they were going for equal distance between strings, not equal distance between mid points of strings.
