I have so many mixed feelings about this.

Ethical minefields aside, I quite enjoy the production on this. The tone's fairly unique and the reverb on the snare makes me very, very happy.

I don't get it when am I supposed to laugh?

If you are a devout Muslim, you wouldn't find this funny.

If you live in the US and have no idea what the song is about, or the importance of the phrases used, yea you won't find this funny either.

At the risk of sounding politically incorrect,
humor is a very potent weapon against terrorism.

I don't mean any disrespect to any muslims here
but having lived as a hindu in a muslim dominated area during the height of separatist movements in the country , humor was used to defuse many tense situations.

It basically implies that is your god so meak that he can't take a joke.

So I do applaud these guys and like the playing,
even though its not funny apart from shock value.

Oddly enough, I vastly prefer their tone to pretty well any other "djent" tone out there.

No I think it's because I'm not a child.

My sentiments exactly when I saw this on my feed today, no one would know/give a .... without the shock value attached to it. That's a fact and says more about this than anything else.

This is the musical equivalent to clickbait.

The music itself is interesting.

But the whole concept is pretty gross tbh.

There's such an anti-muslim sentiment in the world today because moronic extremists and the stereotypes that come with it. This merely seems to be perpetuating those stereotypes, and trying to capitalize on mere shock value for success.

The music was not bad.. But the implied "hilarity" is tasteless

While I firmly believe you should ridicule these fundamentalists to the bitter end, this was very much lacking any sense of parody, hence not funny at all.
