First 12" vinyl: U2 - War (won on the boardwalk at Seaside Heights, NJ when I was like 6)

I never bought any 7" singles, although I was given a Marillion "45" a while back as a gift.

First cassette: I always had copies of stuff on cassettes, but the first one I ever actually bought was Midnight Oil - Blue Sky Mining

First CD: Extreme - III Sides To Every Story

Umm :ugh:

The Police. Synchronicity. I don't have it anymore. Played the shit out of it when I had it, though. I bought it like 20 years ago.

Weird Al Yankovich -Bad Hair Day and the soundtrack to mortal combat
(got them at the same time)

First real album I got was 311's self titled.

EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it... I got all three at the same time when I bought my stereo.
