I've had a couple of strats. My first was a late '70s USA Strat that was total POS--I can't believe that people pay big bucks for those now. My other one was a late '80s Japanese Squier Strat that sounded and played very nice. Like an idiot I sold it for a song, but I just don't dig the vintage trems. The later two-point trems are much better, especially with locking tuners and the roller nut.

This is a 1983 '57 Vintage model in ok shape. Very Stratty sounding! Everything is original except for the Duncan Antiquity in the bridge position.
You look cool with a Strat, Bill. Nice Strat. :pimpin:

80's Japanese Strat with a Kahler Spyder trem.
I've bought Dimarzio Area 61, HS-2 and HS-3 for it but don't know what positions to put them in :(
I was thinking Area 61 bridge, HS-2 middle and HS-3 neck.
