Ya, it gets pretty hot down here from April-October. We basically have 2 seasons: Summer and something not quite Summer. :noway:

no giant spiders?

Every now and than you'll have one run across your face while you're sleeping.

The trick is to do your best to keep your mouth shut while you sleep.

They are usually harmless, they're after birds not people.

But I do sometimes see things like this out the back door.

I concur. I lived in the DFW area for nearly 7 years. Probably the worst 7 years of my life weather wise. Summers of 110 degrees and 98% humidity. Breathing straight water ftw!

The view from the frontdoor of my summerhouse looks like this:

Ah, I see you summer in Wolverhampton!

*lobee desperately hopes none of the guys from Wolverhampton post the view from their front doors, ruining his fantasy that the city lives up to its epic name*

So, not exactly front door shots, roof view shots are better anyway :D

front of the house-ish view:

See the mountains at the far back there? Lebanon's pretty much behind them.

And my annoying cat who won't leave me alone for 2 seconds

I would post up mine, but the view is lackluster, because there are houses and trees in the way of the good stuff.

This is out of our front door...

My fav so far only because I absolutely love a well shaded, developed, and private neighborhood like that. PLUS, youre at the back of a cul-de-sac so way less traffic. :yesway:

PS: your front door is about 10 feet too high off the ground

Hehe...thx!! Everyone in our 'hood has doors up that high, except immediate neighbor to our right. Most of the houses are circa mid-80s....common style. No mortgage = door could require an elevator and I wouldn't care LOL.

Dunno why photobucket is being pissy....i resized the img before i shared the link and it's still huge. even deleted it and re-added it. Tried in 2 different browsers, but no luck...oh well. Sorry for the huge pic.
