So yeah. Here's where we talk about our weekends.

Mine was like a roller coaster ride. Minus the things that make roller coasters cool and fun.

Got annihilated at a party featuring tons of beer pong and good times last night.
Probably gonna chill at home handing out candy and playing Starcraft 2 all night tonight 'cause I'm sick and my plans didn't fall through anyways.

Took the wife & kid to 6 flags discovery kingdom at Vallejo. They had all sort of haunted house type things going on with skeletons and such. Nothing out of the ordinary but the kid and her friend enjoyed the rides.

Went out on an exciting date with a girl from UK. Hungout at home today just taking it easy. Since tomorrow is still my weekend I count that and add another date with this girl before she returns home.

It was my little brother's 15th birthday, so taking into consideration that he has wanted to learn to play guitar for a while (he's been drumming for 2 years), I took an old strat copy of mine, sanded it down, and put a flat purple finish on it. Hung out at the party for awhile, ate some food, spent time with relatives, then stayed the night at my girlfriend's house. Today, woke up around noon, went to Bob Evans' metal for breakfast, took my girl and I's dog to get his first set of shots, then hung out at her house for awhile and watched zombie movies. Twas good times.

Friday night I was incredibly stupid and drank a quart of whisky in roughly an hour. I went to a party at a flat which was above a hair salon. While outside with some people, I lost my balance and fell through the hair salon's back door, setting off a silent alarm, causing the cops to show up within 10 minutes. I went back inside. I sobered up somewhat so I went with a few people to McDonald's and got a gigantic order which helped me a lot. When I got back, it turns out the cops came back again and fined the people $500 for a noise complaint. So I'm chipping in on a good portion on that even though I wasn't there when the fine was issued, I felt like a giant idiot for falling through that door. There was some guy at the party who wanted me out, to the point that he was going to fight me. At least that guy was EASILY as drunk as I was, apparently the crazy asshole had a kitchen knife out. He's now an ex boyfriend of one of the girls there.

Yesterday night I went down to another party in town, and at least 60 people showed up (in a small townhouse). Their kitchen is probably still flooded with spilled drinks. I wasn't drinking much that night due to me being a total moron the night before and due to the fact that I wanted to get home sort of early because there was NO way I'd get a decent place to sleep at that place, at least not before 6am. Luckily, a friend of mine wasn't drinking and was looking to go home early as well, so he drove me, a drunken Iranian friend of ours, and 2 other friends out of Halifax. Some idiots in the street wouldn't get out of the way and started beating on my friend's car, causing him to immediately stop and get out but nobody was about to fight the guy, he's a good size, sober, and doesn't take that kind of shit from people. When we got a couple of streets away, we saw a brutal fight going on between a couple of guys; one of them was on the ground getting punched repeatedly; he probably got sent away in an ambulance if the authorities showed up. While we were driving away I yelled out the window "HE CALLED YOUR MOM A BITCH". A bunch of Neanderthals for sure.

So kids, don't EVER drink a quart of hard alcohol in an hour. If I didn't go inside, I would have spent the night in the drunk tank and would probably be up to my knees in fines for crashing through that door (I don't even think it was locked properly). I didn't cause any damage luckily, but I probably would have gotten screwed anyway. For the record, I'm a fairly big guy, 6 feet tall and 240 pounds, so if you're a scrawny fucker who thinks they can do otherwise, good luck to you. I still feel like a huge idiot for nearly causing property damage due to my own irresponsibility. Generally I'm nowhere near that stupid. I got off VERY lucky.

Still, not a bad weekend though.

I worked (bleh, fastfood-jobs suck) and waited for the weekend to pass and Monday to come so UPS could deliver my new guitar.

On friday, I met with the founder of an up-and-coming indie video game company. I showed him my gear, what I could play, and some previous recordings. I'm going to be making all the music for his game.

Saturday was spent sick and bedridden.

Sunday felt eerily similar to saturday.

And now, since I'm not working, I consider today to be the weekend. I'm still sick. Shit sucks.

This weekend I have mostly done uni work but I also spent a bit more time playing my new RG2027x, ordered a bareknuckle aftermath for it, bought a couple of Chimp Spanner t shirts and the new Breach The Void album 'The Monochromatic Era' (Worth checking out for fans of Sybreed). I wrote a little more material for my EP which will get released one day...honest.

Next weekend, I'm interviewing Job For A Cowboy and Whitechapel and watching them play live with Annotations Of An Autopsy.

Played my new Agile Pendulum 82527 and stayed up late drinking with the lady on Saturday. Came back to university and did homework all Sunday.

I hate going home because I never want to come back to school.

Played my first gig with Carpathia, while dressed as (and talking like) Sean Connery in Hunt for Red October. A fine day for fretless virtuosity. 'twas metal. Lost count of the amount of times that I said "we will pass through the American patrols, past their sonar nets, and lay off their largest city, and listen to their rock and roll, while we conduct missile drills." Got told my Russian fur hat had the wrong badge on it by a very drunk man.

Then I got drunk and watched Denounce play their last ever set.



I proceeded to do essentially nothing on Sunday. Sweet, sweet nothing.

College Applications all weekend. At least next year won't be lame

Friday night: rested up for the big weekend, programmed some patches on my gsp1101, got all my gear ready

Saturday: set up for final gig ever as a band with DTM, played gig, great success, many drinks were had, flirted like crazy with awesome chick I had met previously. home by 1am

Sunday: rest from the big night previously, then went out again in the evening, got food with a mate, many beers/whiskeys were had, went into town, got bored of waiting to get into the irish club so walked 4km with a few guys trying to get to a casino, ended up staying at awesome girl from previous night's house, did the walk of shame at 8am with no sleep back to my car, went home and slept, then watched true blood.

went to one dissapointing party after another....the kinds were ppl say its a party than u get there and its just a bunch of people sitting around in there own little groups drinking there own booze and than it gets broken up after an hour. no free beer. weak weak weak

I went to Toronto and fucked it up. Creeped people out, pretended I was Chris Hansen for Halloween (I was dressed as myself), ate at Sneaky Dee's several times, bought some shit for my brother for Christmas, bought some shit for my girlfriend's birthday, bought myself two Armani shirts and a wicked Hollister button-up.

Oh, and I bought six movies. Did you really think I'd forget about movies?
