They're re-recording it. it should be out next month. Maybe they washed the shame off of it.

Pain was cool, btw.

Yeah, it's sort of an odd move, but I'm interested in what they pull out of it.

Horgh makes everything better. Fact.

Angra, with the exception of Aurora Consurgens (even though it's still a very good album). Temple of Shadows = :shred:

Another one would be the Deftones, IMO. Their albums seem to get better and better. Except for Saturday Night Wrist. Hole In The Earth is the only song on that album I can enjoy.

I agree about Deftones getting better with each release but I don´t agree about SNW.

I fuckin love the whole album, except for that track with the chick talking, such a dumb track.

Most bands have gotten better with age. Those that do not are the exception, I believe.

But yeah, Death is one of those bands that sounded nothing like their old stuff.

srsly? still life is like their best album.
:agreed:

Devildriver have got markedly better
Nevermore keep upping the bar and are quality, got listening to TGE, and also the remaster enemies disc last night. Just quality stuff.
Keep of Kallessin, their last album is ace, and a marked improvement over the first two.
William Shatner. He should never be allowed to stop making music.

Agalloch.

Given they've only had 3 albums, "Ashes Against The Grain" is stellar beyond "Pale Folklore" and "The Mantle" (imo).

:metal: I'm a little surprised more people don't listen to them.

Queens of the Stone Age maybe?

Maybe we need a "Their shit has been of a consistent quality!" thread?

Three Inches of Blood. I could never stand much of them before, but their latest disc just has me laughing my ass off the whole time. It is fun stuff to drive really fast to.

tool, opeth, death and meshuggah's best albums are the middle ones counting from today!

Porcupine Tree went from average to splendid with their last two records.
Gojira may only have released 3 albums but the curve points upwards imo.
Krisiun and Coprofago also really matured with age. i dont know if Decapitated counts since we dont know what will happen now (rip vitek), but their albums got better and better.

Chimairas new stuff is definetly better.

:agreed:

The EP and Pass out of existence were generic and boring. The next album was getting better, and their self titled album was fucking epic! Ressurection is good, not better than the self titled, but it's equal, so that's good.

Devildriver have grown tremendously over three albums as well. The first disc was post nu-metal confusion BS, and The Fury of our Makers Hand was a damn fine metal record, and the newest one fucking owns!
