Reminds me of the e-Bow that everyone had to have a few years back.

That thing would always be in the way unless all you did was two-hand tapping stuff like Stanley Jordan. Interesting, but flawed, idea.

 Eeerrrr.
I have one and love it, Ebow is useful if you have the gumption to practice with it....

I'm all about tricking out guitars and alternate ways of making music. But this thing is a good idea but just plain looks silly ; I'll admit..

Man look where the volume knob is on that guitar. I hate volume knobs that close to the bridge pickup, I always hit the damn thing. I have one guitar like that.

Oh yeah, and the whammy bar is gay as hell. Take that thing on stage sometime and get laughed at.

I remeber checking out the sound clips when someone posted this on jemsite- soudned more like a whammy pedal than a bar. Not as in, "damn, that gives you some mad cool range!" but "that's a f'in hoax, that wasn't done with a whammy bar."

There's also the fact that a 1 1/2 foot long bar would give you WAY too much leverage- the slightest twitch would knock you about a half-step off. God forbid trying to hold that and tap... I picked up a habit of palming the bar about halfway down it's length, about the bend, from George Lynch- it helps keep your bar vibrato in check and makes it much easier to do subtle accentations. God only knows what would happen if you tried to vibrato with that much extra leverage- you'd sound like a drunken washing machine.
