Okay guys, this is what I came up with from this morning and afternoon of taking some pictures!!! Enjoy, this could quite possibly be the most pictures ever in a picstory! I didn't get to photograph the opening as it was at work and I can't bring a camera there. :( Here they are:

Fin. That's a lot of beauty in one picstory. A few things to note (details!):

Check out the macros of the back.... there's about 5 or so RED pieces of figuring in the back wood that came out when it was carved and the clear coat was sprayed. Cool stuff! :yesway: When looking at the top check out the flamed figuring that runs horizontally, but also note the beautiful chocolate swirls that run VERTICALLY through the top! Yum! :yum: Check out the side of the fretboard.... notice anything unusual? A Thorn exclusive, hidden fret-ends! There's nothing poking out the side of the fretboard! :woot: The dual offset purfling is another Thorn exclusive, so the purfling goes along the fretboard and the top of the body, but the SIDE of the top as well! Also, as always, note the exquisite inlay work.... NO FILLER!!!

Seriously nice. I recently got a custom Tom Anderson guitar myself... no where NEAR as much bling as that Thorn though. Bet it sounds as awesome as it looks!

Oh yeah, didn't you have a JP7 that I played? Yeah, that was, umm, pretty cool.

 Guess it is that good.

Honestly, yes. He had me play the JP7 first for a reason. It was just not in the same league as this guitar. It as much better than the JP7 as the JP7 is better than a Schecter Hellraiser. There was not any one thing on this guitar that was not better than any one thing on every single guitar I have ever played. Thorn's level of craftsmanship and skill is just awe inspiring. I am so happy that he makes a guitar that I could never use live (missing two frets and a string), because I probably would have to wait five years and take out a small loan to get one.

I actually played his Carvin 727 last. I was like,

Thats awesome to hear. I've never played a guitar that I liked more than a Carvin DC727. If it makes you shrug at it...

Then again, I've never played something hand-built.

How'd the croc-skin case look?
