Damn the Deliverance sounds badass. How is it for bedroom volumes though? It's 120 watts with 1 volume and no effects loop.

maybe tremonti mt15? maybe too glassy to be “ultra tight”

Ahh not that great haha. What's your definition of bedroom volume though? Some people mean it literally and some people just mean not crushingly loud. The Pittbulls have a good master volume on them. You get a decent amount of sweep on the lower end of the volume knob.

Used 5150.

Peavey 5150/6505 and EVH 5153 for sure

5150/6505, eh?
The 5150II/6505+ are easily much tighter, owing to the extra high pass filtering going on. Why would the OP want the looser version of the amps if they're asking for tightness?
Although I agree with you TWAT on the 5150III, that thing is tight as hell

I’m gonna vote Fryette 50CL, too. That’s what I got. I got a UL recently, and plan to sell the 50CL, but the two are equally tight. Fryettes just have that in spades.

How would you compare the tone/feel between the CL and the UL?

I see the CL’s for sale every once in a while but I’ve never seen a UL here in the U.K.

'Tight' and 'fizzy' aren't mutually exclusive things, especially when you're talking high gain. Any high gain amp sounds 'fizzy' with the gain turned up (even modestly) with sustained notes/chords, really.

Anyway, when I think 'high gain' and 'tight', 'not muddy' and minimal 'fizz', I think dry with crunch and bottom-end. My top pick would be a Pitbull UL for that but that gets you over $1000 easily. By MY interpretation of that, I think the guy that said 6505+ Bias Mod is there, I'd also think Mesa 50 Cal+ and JCM 900 SL-X :2c:
