JJ, i guarantee that you WILL be able to hear the result of having your guitar set up with a Peterson tuner. I thought my guitars had good intonation. Holy crap was i ever wrong!

JJ - You could check out Musicstop out there (now Long & McQuade), as we carry Peterson gear all the time.

I consider my desktop VS-II the most indespensible tool on my bench. Peterson make truly the best tuners, period.

I can give it a shot lol What kind of setup work does it need? Just intonation? Pretty sure I can handle that.

intonation may need to be done, i want the action a touch lower but the truss rod was making that difficult, etc..

really should just take it in. when i picked up my strat after it's first ever setup... twas a good time!
