After installing a tone zone 7 in the bridge position of my rg7321 my tone now works as a secondary volume. I'm guessing my shoddy soldering of the ground and green wire on the volume pot might have caused this...bad pot now? Any idea? Also how do I delete the tone control and I don't use it...

Thanks guys...

Disconnect the wires going to the tone pot from the volume pot. Tone pot is now disabled.

Make sure that the capacitor on the tone pot is still properly soldered to it. If it is not, this could cause the issue you are having.

Sounds like the tone pot might be shorting out on the volume pot. See if it got rotated so that it's now touching something it shouldn't. Although I suppose if you're just going to disconnect your tone pot, this doesn't matter.
