They are cheaper than that, there are a few on guitar centers used site for under $1000.

$2000? Can you really get a Mesa Rectifier for $2000?

Here in Europe the price for a Dual Rectifier is closer to $3400.

Last time I checked, here in America it's $1800 for a new dual and $1900 for a new triple

Well then, that explains why there seems to be so many Mesa owners in America when dual recs over there are going for the same price as a ENGL Fireball 100 are going for here in Europe. Not bad

1 Framus Cobra - Still proving to me everytime I try to see what else I could get that it is my one true love
2 Egnater Armaggedon - Only one to capture my interest. The mid control is so amazingly versatile
3 Mesa Dual Rectifier - There is a reason this is a timeless amp. Not perfect by any means, but such an iconic sound in the right hands
4 5150 - The sound that built melo-death, and what a sound it is
5 JCM800 - Slayer. That is all.

Just get a step down transformer (220V to 110V voltage converter) and save a few hundred.
