Last Facebook update I saw yesterday, 6 drum tracks were done. Supposibly some gigs with Metal Church are already planned for Europe next year.

EDIT update: Just saw another FB post from Jason saying he's working on wrapping up the rest of the drums today :yesway:

Anyone interested, they just announced their only US date before going to Europe, April 12th, 2014 at St. Vitus in Brooklyn, NY.

That would be my birthday. SOLD :fever:

well that blows.

As for the new songs, the vocals really are the weak link imo.

just very average and unremarkable.

Jason Bittner left to join Flotsam & Jetsam

Seriously? That sucks. It seems like he was a good fit.

Mike's vocals...I don't know how to feel. He sounds kinda shitty on Too Late, but AWESOME on Crooked Crosses. The rest of it sounds consistently insane and excellent, though.

I really don't like how the vocals got mixed, otherwise they're just fine.

Still Sabin was a much better singer.

I would have preferred them getting a young guy that has similar skills and range to him than going back to Mike. Especially since they are keeping it proggy.

Someone like the dude who sings for Mekong Delta now.

I, too, was much more of a fan of Sabin.

Also, what happened to Ralph Santola? I didn't see any mention of him leaving the band/getting fired.

Damn, has it been 8 years since it was worth posting anything? New album coming in August and the first single dropped yesterday. Relentless, technical THRASH (With a chorus that gives me a Painkiller vibe for some reason?)

Yeah, that's really promising, even if the mix is kinda blah.
