How can i tell which version mine is? or if it has the phat mod? i can't find a way to put the serial number into mesa's site or anything..:scratch:

I'm sure there is an "About" Menu on the Triaxis you can access that will tell you your version #.

The number displays will show whether it is version 1 or 2 when you switch it on. It'll either show 1.0 or 2.0 on all the displays.
Can't remember how to tell whether it has the phat mod :scratch: But as soon as I do, I'll post it!

I knew it had something to do with serial numbers!!

oh dear, I have serial number T0076, and the guy that last fixed it did say it was an early version, but i iknow it's also had a mod done to it.

Oh, and mine comes up as version #2 when i turn it on.... I am well confused now, apart from that I really like the sounds i gets out of it :)

actually someone contacted mesa about the latest version w/ the loanstar in it and they still call it v.2.**

The other difference between 1.0 and 2.0 is the continous MIDI control added on in ver. 2.0

It's very much a hardware mod.

I found mod-ing info on this somewhere on the web.
