Hi guys, I want to ask you something.
Do I need specific amplifiers for seven string guitars?
Because last week I tested my brand new 7 string guitar (Schecter Hellraiser C7) tuned in Drop A at the rehearsal room with my band and the amplifiers wasn't reacting well. The sound came out so blurry that we couldn't clearly hear the notes while playing.
At home I don't have these kind of problems, probably because I don't use a real amp but an audio interface (Line 6 Toneport GX) with Cubase and Guitar Rig 4 (an amp simulator).
For distortion I use the Boss Metalcore ML2 and I never had troubles with it, so the distortion pedal is not the problem.
We don't own the amps in rehearsal room so I don't know which model they are, but one of them is a "Hughes and Kettner" and the other a "Fender".
Anyone has some suggestions or had the same issues?
Please I need help!
Thanks
