Valves for engl fireball

im picking up a second hand engl fireball on sunday its in great condition its just the valves are old and will need changing soon they are 6l6s, does it matter what type or make of 6l6 i put in it or could i get any 6l6s in it?

Any 6l6 will work but different ones give different tones I use jj's in mine and it gives it a more metal type of sound.it all really comes down to preference the pre amp tubes also make a big difference.
