Victor Wooten on Guitar

Hey guys, been really brushing up on Victor Wooten's thumping techniques. I've been trying to implement them in my playing, especially on my 8 string.

Sounds very similar to the Animals as Leaders songs that do that

Victor's brother Reggie does it on guitar as well, but his sounds nothing like you, he tends to do it on high strings and it doesn't sound very good IMO

Man, that was actually super nice playing.

Kind of ironic it's on an 8 though - as the last time I met Victor at a local clinic a few years ago, his mantra seemed to be "Who needs more than 4 strings?!". I bet he'd still be impressed.

I agree with the guy who said that is sound's like Animal As leaders song.
In my opnion you should to see how Tosin use that technique.

But your riff sounds really cool!
