the tapping sounded like something by protest the hero?

my problem with that video is, the sweeping stuff and the leady stuff is how claen i'd LIKE to be playing MINE

didnt hear much of that low B though.. should do an at the gates cover so's we can hear that low B more or somethin. keep up the good work.

oh, and start writing your own stuff, i daaare you. :p

Yeah, the tapping bit was Bloodmeat. I want to cover that whole song as I can finally play most of it, but At the Gates will be a priority too.

And I'm terrible at writing my own stuff, other than that kind of masturbation lead wank. Why do you think I do covers? ;)

Haha don't worry, their shit is hard to play.

I gave up on Blindfolds Aside. Unfortunately all the tabs are wrong and I couldn't figure it out by ear. :(

Great playing Cody.
Now get going on "Jaws of Life" will ya?:shred:
I noticed the same thing while I had my Loomis(and my Hellraiser)
The Carvin neck seems to be about 1/8th of an inch narrower
so it's easier (for me anyway) to go back and forth between my Carvin and my Soloist.
You've got it sounding pretty good thru that Carvin head.
I wish I had my Recto while I had the Loomis, I get they're a good match.
I wasn't crazy about how it sounded thru my JSX, it was a little bright.

It's really the string spacing that's fucking with me though. I assume it's different on the Carvin though.

Hmm, maybe I SHOULD try all of Jaws of Life. We shall see, for sure. :)

*that is, if I can play it which, listening to the solo, is unlikely

Thanks guys!

Nah, Protest the Hero. I want to learn that part in Skies of Millennium Night though (I think that's what you're referring to).

Lol yeah, I thought it was SoMN. Protest the Hero rocks though. I'm one of those guys that really like the vocals actually.
