Voodoo Lab GCX setup with HD500

I've recently changed up a couple things with my rig.
im using a Pod Hd500 as my main tone maker, with additional analog pedals before the pod and within the pod's fx loop.
Im getting a custom built road case to haul everything at once, which will make touring much easier. So im looking into the GCX to take control of everything and have all my pedals tucked away.

My question is, can a GCX, control channel switching on the POD? so if im playing a distorted channel with all the pedals on, then I decide I need to change channels, can the gcx change the channel on the pod as well as the analog pedals in the pod's fx loop?

The ground control pro can is very versatile in the way of a midi controller. You will have to look into the manual, but I wouldn't imagine it being a problem.the only issue I had with mine was midi lag when daisy chaining four devices together (and it was more of a device issue than gcx).

Wait, so you just used the ground control pro? Or you used it as well as the gcx?

I used both to control a framus cobra, overdrives and effects processing
