"Warning, strong orange content" NGD 8 string neck through.

I've had this hanging around unfinished for ages for some reason. It started in this thread http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/lu.../227770-als-8-string-neckthrough-madness.html.
I pulled it out and finished it this week although it needs setting up completely when I get time.

Apologies for the dusty fret board I'll clean it up when I get it on the bench.

Thanks for all the heads up The specs are.
BE Maple top with Pommele Sapele neck and Maple back. This guitar is surprisingly light, which is not what I usually aim for.
The finger-board is a very high figured piece of Pomele with a Maple binding.
The bridge is a simple home made steel and powder-coat with Tele roller saddles SA8 Roller Saddle Set For S Or T Style - Saddles - Bridges
The body finish was done with Winsor oil paints and Tru oil... a finish I'll never do again for many reasons but I love the end result.

The pickups are Carvin actives and I don't understand why these are instantly swapped out on every Carvin thread I see on here.

I just need to put some longer screws on the higher saddles and set it all up.

^ya I was curious about the neck joint and also what the other cavity cover is for? I checked the build thread but didn't see it mentioned (might have missed it though).
