Hey, guys. When I play through the distorted channel on my amp, the higher strings have a weird, almost "wavy" sound to them that I can't figure out. It doesn't sound like that on the clean channel, and the guitar is well intonated. adding relief in the neck helps a little but not fully, and with added relief the low B doesn't want to intonate right. I don't want to add relief and string height to the point that it's uncomfortable, but the wavy/buzzy sound bothers me. It's a Japan-made Ibanez RG7421 w/ an EMG 707 in the bridge position, if that helps. Thanks.
