isn't that every area? it's certainly the case in my area....
I haven't been offered a single weapon of any flavor here in Massachusetts and that makes me sad.

yeah but are they anything good? Or is it all shit like Hipoints and Tauruses?I've been offered enough guns to the point where I swear Craigslist Musical Gear and Armslist patrons have a nearly 100% crossover rate in my area.
Mid and low end mostly, lots of odd ducks and bubba'd shit. The most common aspect always being that they weren't worth what I was selling even if I had wanted them.yeah but are they anything good? Or is it all shit like Hipoints and Tauruses?
Taurus makes good shit. They are Schecter Diamond level.yeah but are they anything good? Or is it all shit like Hipoints and Tauruses?
debatable. Outside of the judge I think they're crap personally.Taurus makes good shit. They are Schecter Diamond level.
I've never been offered a gun. Now I'm feeling left outI've been offered enough guns to the point where I swear Craigslist Musical Gear and Armslist patrons have a nearly 100% crossover rate in my area.
Laws vary from state to state. AZ laws are pretty relaxed IIRC. If you know your state laws regarding private transfers (selling/trading) that's about 90% of it, the other 10% being don't try doing deals with people who you know are a person prohibited from firearms ownership. I know a weird amount about guns if you ever have any questions, it's a bigger hobby of mine than guitar, but sadly I don't have the insight on hand about your state laws. Also keep in mind you can't go to another state in which you do not reside to buy/trade/give and skirt the firearms laws of the state in which you do reside, as that would constitute a federal felony. I would bet AZ doesn't have magazine/ammo/muzzle device/grip laws at all, you would just have to worry about federal regulations which are confusing but boilerplate. If you have any questions feel free to reach out, but you'd probably be better off finding a reddit group like AZguns (I made that up) or something and ask them. They'll know which way the wind blows over there a lot better than anyone else will.I've never been offered a gun. Now I'm feeling left out
TBH, I'd probably be down to trade for a gun or two. Would be fun to go out shooting once in a while. My problem is that I literally know nothing about guns, what they're worth and the laws around selling them to private parties, so trading for one is totally out of my wheelhouse.
I'm lucky that I know someone who can help me assess any gun and help me go through all the paperwork for a fairly low cost. I've just never taken up anyone on such an offer because they basically wanted what it could cost for me to buy the gun at full MSRP while my guitar is proably 50-66% of what it costs new. As someone who only owns one gun for target shooting (Ruger Mark IV lite), the guns most people offer aren't even the type of thing I'd want.I've never been offered a gun. Now I'm feeling left out

You can't leave it at that, cos that sounds like the voice of experience...tell us more!Since it has somehow come up twice. Do not ever get a goat either as a pet or as livestock. They will ruin your life. Satan looks like that for a reason.
When I was a kid we got two goats. My mum thought it would keep the grass down and that they'd be friendly. You can't leave it at that, cos that sounds like the voice of experience...tell us more!
Did you try them in a good Goat Curry? We tried letting them in a fenced field, but they got stuck in the fence. We tried letting them run free, but they got stuck in the fence. We tried tying them up, but they ended up just getting wrapped around trees or each other or literally anything they could find.
I am just glad I read this. It made my day better. When I was a kid we got two goats. My mum thought it would keep the grass down and that they'd be friendly.
I don't know why she thought this because when she was a kid she also had goats and the only story we've ever heard about them was when they attacked my uncle.
Anyway, they're hateful creatures. We tried letting them in a fenced field, but they got stuck in the fence. We tried letting them run free, but they got stuck in the fence. We tried tying them up, but they ended up just getting wrapped around trees or each other or literally anything they could find.
And they didn't want help either. They'd cry as soon as they realised they were stuck. And when you went to help them they'd struggle every way they could to prevent you from helping them. They'd bite you when you put your hand near their head to free them.
And they were mean too. They'd ram anyone or anything that came near them. You'd get a headbutt just by existing within their vision. And they were insane and they could jump. So they could jump onto windowsills and smash the windows.
And they shit everywhere. Just everywhere. And they did it passively. And constantly. Like just as they're walking around there'd be pellets spilling out of them.
And then when we finally gave them away to a farmer, he said we could call and my sister could visit them because she was still attached to them. But then he never answered our calls because they ran away, and we found this out because they turned up in a local newspaper story about two goats roaming around terrorising the countryside.
