From iTunes

Soilwork: A Predator's Portrait
Pantera: Vulgar Display of Power
Chroma Key: Dead Air for Radios
Pain of Salvation: Scarsick

The Pain of Salvation album is really good. I don't see how it's so radically different from their other albums, like some people said. Cribcaged is just an awesome song.

CDs I've bought lately:

Amon Amarth - With Oden on Our Side
Opeth - My Arms Your Hearse
Cynic - Focus
Throes of Dawn - Quicksilver Clouds
Dark Tranquillity - Character

Chimaira really hasn't changed all that much since they switched back over to 6 strings....Resurrection is really good though. I think they've gotten better on every album since they've started.

Last albums I bought were:

Necrophagist - Epitaph
Strapping Young Lad - The New black
and quite a while back, Scar Symmetry - Pitch Black Progress

I haven't bought new CDs hardly at all this year, student life :noway:. Still, The new black has been on pretty much constantly since I got it, It's a damn good album :metal:

I'll respectfully disagree. I don't think their new album resembles anything they've done in the past. They don't sound like the same band. All I know is I disliked their other CDs but I really dig some of the stuff on the new one.

:noplease: They've been my favorite band since 2000....I've followed them from the start, so having played every song they've ever written, up til this new album, which I will be learning...I can say with all certainty that their style hasn't changed much at all, their tunings and drummer have, several times, but that's it. Only new thing is that they added more vocals, well, and Andols is back again. That's about it.

But I did just preorder it....lol...to stay slightly on topic here.
