So I know that my list will differ greatly from most ppl on this site as I cannot stand the vocals of Nevermore/Sikth/Monuments/Behemoth etc. and I love core.... but I thought it would be an interesting way to see what everyone is into. I'll go first ofc.

All Shall Perish
Veil of Maya
After The Burial
Periphery
TesseracT
Pantera
Animals As Leaders
All That Remains
The Human Abstract
August Burns Red
Chevelle
The White Stripes
CCR
Vildhjarta
Smile Empty Soul
Senses Fail
Underoath

Many bands come and go from my iPod but these seem to have been there for a year or more...

I have 80 GB, so I rarely have to remove music, but sometimes I do a purge of stuff I just never listen to at all anymore, like this weekend, I deleted 8 gigs of random music. However, some of the most-played bands on my iPod include:

The White Stripes
Joanna Newsom
Horse Feathers
After the Burial
Terror
Isis
Neurosis
Red Sparowes
Mastodon
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Explosions in the Sky
This will Destroy You
Gaza
Converge
Aesop Rock
Coldplay
Bon Iver
Sean Carey
Blakroc
Iron & Wine
Patrick Watson
Russian Circles
The Contortionist

I doubt any of this music will ever leave my iPod, but then again, if you had asked me 2 or 3 years ago, I'd have said Origin, Odious Mortem, Cannibal Corpse or Devourment would never leave my iPod, and I just deleted the last of their albums I had on it this weekend, so you never know.

Dream Theater

Those are pretty much dominant on my iPhone. I can't say Periphery/Veil/AaL/stuff like that, that's relatively new. The CD's costs 28$ a piece in DK, no joke, and I consider them too sacred to be ripped from the net, paid or not.
They will be in my next bulk-order of awesome CD's. Like when I got my 10 Devin CD's for 100$. :]

Jellyfish - Spilt Milk is probably the only album that never leaves my iPod.

The Spice and Wolf soundtracks
The Perfect Dark soundtrack
About the first 15 or so years of Sonic the Hedgehog games' soundtracks
The Ragnarok soundtrack
Animals as Leaders
Meshuggah

That's what I'll never remove. Though honestly, ever since I got a new phone I've forgotten to put Ragnarok on... I must remedy this.

Luckily I bought a big enough iPod to house all of my music, but in theory I guess the few that I'd never get rid of would be Jan Johansson, Frank Zappa and Django Reinhardt.
