What Bands would you like to see playing 7 strings?

Revocation,Psyopus,Circa Survive,Coheed and Cambria,Circle of Contempt and Cannibal needs to return to 7s

Circa would do some unthinkable things with a 7. That would be incredible. Same with Circle of Contempt.

I'd personally like to see BTBAM, Black Dahlia Murder, Converge, Gojira, Mastodon, Misery Signals, and hell even Opeth go for 7's. Though I would be kind of scared at what Mikael would do with a 7 string.

Didn't they use an octave drop on thier sixes tuning like I often do (they used Ab if I remember right) , which pretty much gave them the same range, in a different manner?

They basically Tuned a 6 string to a seventh string without the sixth string
i.e.: standard 7 string is
EBGDAEB
they would be
EBGDAB
And then everything was tuned down half a step

The lowest string was also dropped another whole step sometimes I think

I think Dream Theater should use sevens exclusively because their greatest most amazing songs have all been on seven strings. The Dance of Eternity, A Change Of Seasons, both are godly, and both were on sevens.
