What do you play right after you plug in?

In standard I have a tendency to play a friend's rendition of an old blues song called Nobody's Fault but Mine, or Vicarious by Tool if it's in drop D. My guitars practically live in open D minor lately, so more often then not, I play the intro to Ghost of Perdition by Opeth.

Tune, a chord or two, scale run, honestly whatever I am feeling. 6,7, or 8, it's not often the same. But to hear intonation, harmonics, and overall resonance, I always play a few measures or about half of Vai's "Die to Live".

Depending on which one I'm using it'll either be chugging on an F followed by mindless clean derping on the higher strings, ripping off Amon Amarth in B standard, or trying to be Devin in Open C.
