I had the pedal and used it once. Not because it didn't sound good, but because I'm at home playing with my amps that I captured with it. It's awesome for recording though. I can use those amps in my DAW without having to mic it every again.
Yeah, like I mentioned above, having all that stuff plugged in can be annoying at times. I thought it could be cool to capture an OD->Amp->EQ chain if it kept the tone and dynamics of the original. Then you just play your copy if you didn't feel like firing up everything. Even better if it keeps the dynamics if you run it through a SS poweramp.

Have an Epiphone Les Paul Custom that's been sitting on my rack played for years. Think I'm gonna pick up some Dimarzio Dominions to chuck in it just so I have an excuse to mod it lol.

I don't need any other guitars, but at the same time this has me tempted:

SE McCarty 594 SC I played at an L&M was just incredibly nice, also unbelievably loud acoustically.

Impulse bought a Synergy Syn-2 preamp rack. Now I need some modules, thinking about buying the pitbull and drect. Are they different enough from the Axefx Deliverance and Recto models? Anyone with experience?

I have all 3, but the Synergy experience is way different than using Fractal, so it is hard to compare. The Synergy depends heavily on what poweramp and cab you use. Overall though, the Synergy stuff has a very tight, clear, punchy attack to it. When I play my Synergy stuff I am focusing more on that dynamic interaction with the amp. The Fractal stuff can sound great, but it doesn't have that immediate feel to it.

The Ultra Lead and DRect are both great modules though. I like them both best with boost pedals.
