As far as I know the only things like that you'll be able to find are LACS customs or Japanese specials like the 9xxx series

There's no S series as far as I know.

Just rg's. I forget the name I just remember they end in XL.

If I understand correctly, there were several models produced in the early 2000's that did have baritone scales, however. I'm sure other posters can fill you in on those better than I can, but I'll tell you what I know. There were members of the RG XL series (one six string and two seven strings), and at least one or two other rarer limited edition models.

What sucks is that none of those models are currently in production. So unless you want to get a conversion neck from someone like ET Guitars, you're going to have to buy secondhand.

RG7680-LTD1 and RG7681-LTD1 also had 27" scale, but those were very limited run instruments, I think only 20 of each were made. Beatiful guitars though.

Here is an old post of mine that details nearly every 7 string Ibanez has ever produced.

I have the RG7421XL and it is a fantastic guitar. I love the sound, tone, and feel of the 27" scale on a 7 string guitar. The only thing that is kind of a bummer is that they only came in silver:

RG7EXFX2 as well, but it's only available in Japan. You could snag one from Ikebe.

See, I've seen varying reports on this one, some people say it's 27", others say it's 25.5". Perhaps someone who owns one of these could come in and clear things up?

Eh, you see 1077XL's and 2077XL's on sale on these forums now and then, not that uncommon.

Still a great guitar though, and I do love silver.
I really do wish more people made >25.5" sevens.
