Man..Some of you guys make me feel old. I started with a few text based games but I dont remember what would be my first. As far as console goes I would have to say
E.T (Yes..I was an owner ofthe worst game EVER) or Pong on Atari 2600. I also remember one called crack pot. I think it consisted of dropping pots on spiders from the top of a wall. I was probably 3 years old or so playing this shit in the early 80's

First online games I played were pay-per-hour on AOL. Splatterball which was a FPS paintball game followed by Legends of Kesmai which was more or less the first graphical MMORPG. My parents paid $1.99 or something per hour for me to play those damn games. Now people think $15 per month is a lot to spend
