Hmm...I'll start with a list of songs that I just can't get sick of:

The Used - Buried Myself Alive (I don't know why, it's just damn well written)
Korn - Freak on a Leash (my introduction to 7-strings)
Steve Vai - The Blood and Tears (my introduction to Vai)
Incubus - Pardon Me (just damn well written/produced)
Metallica - Nothing Else Matters, Until It Sleeps, Bleeding Me
The Tea Party - Correspondences, Heaven Coming Down, These Living Arms, Cathartik, (pretty much everything off any of their albums except their new one)
Tool - Lateralus, Schism, Parabol/Parabola, Ticks and Leeches (pretty much the whole Lateralus album)
I Mother Earth - anything off their last two albums
30 Seconds to Mars - Capricorn
System of a Down - a lot of stuff from their last two albums
Disturbed - Prayer
Finger Eleven - anything.
Tommy Lee - Blue, Ashamed, Hold Me Down (don't ask me why)
Coheed and Cambria - The Crowing, and anything else really
Micheal Jackson - Beat It
Green Day - Nimrod album (lots of memories)

There's a LOT more. Throw in some classic Genesis and Queen because I grew up on that stuff.

Favorite of all time:
Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight

:metal: Yeah, Incubus used to one of my favorite bands (With their albums S.C.I.E.N.C.E., Fungus Amongus, and Make Yourself -- not that big of a fun of Morning View and A Crow Left Of The Murder, although those are good albums).

Always thought "Freak On A Lash" was a sweet song ("Got The Life", "Ball Tongue", and "Blind" are a few other cool songs).

Love Finger Eleven to death and always been a big Tool fan (really like the "Aenema" album a lot)

The Stones? Left of center? "Beggar's Banquet" is a f'in CLASSIC, dude. :fawk:

(Yeah, ok, I know what you mean, it's not metal, and most of the responses here will be. ;))

Yeah, better come correct, son! It was a COMPLIMENT, cockbite!

And Two Hands and E, I'm a HUMUNGOUS Korn fan, and 'Shoots n Ladders' ALMOST makes my list, but while they're probably my favorite band (eh... maybe), they don't make my favorite song list.

Two Hands... got enuff songs on the list, bro?

Telecaster... ah, 80's rock. I love it, too. (I love Bon Jovi :flame: ) 'Working Man' is one of my favorites, as well.

Drew are you sure it's not called "the Lonesome Boatman", really old irish tune. If it is I have a cover of it on my harddrive somewhere although its a shred version so you'd probably accuse me of homicide.

I make no accusations until I see a body. ;)

I'm not sure, actually - the version I have (done by a group called Silly Wizard, and probably the only band that me, my dad, and my mom all like, lol) is labeled "Fhear A Bhata (The Boatman)" on the CD, but the title "the Lonesome Boatman" would certainly fit the lyrics.

I'm gonna try not to make it too shred-y, but we'll see...

Bjork - Joga (original and strings only version fom Family Tree)

Michael Hedges - Ragamuffin or Peg Leg Speed King

The Cranberries - The Icicle Melts, Daffodil Lament and Forever Yellow Skies

Alanis Morrisette - Right Through You, Mary Jane and So-Called Chaos

Slayer - Postmortem/Raining Blood, Angel of Death

Testament - Anything from the first few discs. Skolnick/Peterson is one of my all-time favorite duos.

Also, my total guilty please is old Duran Duran. Songs like Save a Prayer and Lonely in Your Nightmare, etc... WAY underrated musically IMHO. A few NIN and Tori Amos tunes would be up there. Blood Roses is a great tune, John! I am a big Tori fan, too. Man one song just can't happen. :)

You should check out "First Strike Is Deadly" from testament, its a re-recording w/ Alex Skolnick from '02, where they did songs from the first 2 CDs with brutally awesome production and everything. \m/

I was wondering if that was worth getting or not. I'll pick it up, thanks :yesway:
I dug the Anthrax release like that, The Greater of Two Evils. Nice and raw but I kinda missed Belladonna. Damn Charlie can play! :metal:
