There's a 1960's piano here, but I've been told it already old as from the 30's. Dunno, but it's old.

1987 Hohner SR Devil. Only about a 100 produced between 86 and 87 if I've read up on it correctly.

I found it in a dumpster of people who had moved away. Its headstock was poking out as I was walking by in the rain. It was covered in rust and stickers...beat to shit

Here's a before right after I stripped it down.

The eldest instrument i currently own is made by ESP Japaneese Kramer Focus 6000. :)
It has a cracked headstock but it's a hell of a guitar, singing sustain and crushing, tight low end. I am a big fan of hot-rodded PAF pickups.

1984 Kawai solidbody electric, shown here few years ago. I later changed to Screaming demon pickups. And Guitar Center Concord stole the coil split push button.

My oldest is my Squier Stagemaster 7-string, I got it on clearance from Musician's Friend in 2002, I wanna guess it was built in about 2000 or so. It's my first 7-string, and is still kicking to this day! I'm considering a re-refinish on it, since my original refinish is starting to look kinda ghetto, as it was done 8 years ago, and not all that well to start with.

Takamine GX-100TB from '83 or '84 (the only years they were made). Still my favorite 6 I've ever played and my one guitar that I would never sell. I'll see if I can dig up a picture later.

Heh, I've got one of them. They're very decent beater guitars. Do Squier still make them?

Oldest instrument I own (apart from a smattering of late '90s guitars and basses which aren't really that old) is a French violin from 1912. No pics because it's in its case and I'm lazy. Might put some up later in the week if I remember.

Sort-of inherited it from a deceased neighbour of a friend. Their grandchildren were going through the house as they were selling the place, and asked my musical friend if he wanted a violin. He didn't (he's a woodwind kind of guy - we all have our flaws) but kept it for me. Very grateful.

Unfortunately, they don't, otherwise I'd probably have another one by now. Mine has gone through all kinds of abuse, and just keeps right on ticking, and sounding great, it's really too bad those guitars (and their 6-stringed baritone counterparts) got discontinued.

Here's my pat pending caddy, '78 or '79 I don't remember. Still has the Rio Grande in the neck but I've got a custom wound High Order degaussed A5 in the bridge now instead of the Duncan showing in the pic. Swapped the tuners out for some Planet Waves lockers too.

I've got to get this thing back from my parent's house, I miss it now. I have a super old Silvertone classical (50's or early 60's I believe) over there too, no pics of that one.

Kramer \m/

I have earlier 80s banana headstock focus 2000. Paid 50 bucks. It has a hacked up neck joint, and a poorly repaired broken headstock. Its undergoing a badly needed resto.
