Does someone know where to find a similar minimalistic (single) cutaway guitar, preferably without going custom?

I was playing with the http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/standard-guitars/165996-online-les-paul-designer.html and came up with nearly my dream guitar.

The hardest part is finding one without inlays. But that just seems classier to me.
But maybe there is one out there, which I don't know about

Thanks for all suggestions!

Not custom because of price?
What about semi custom a la Carvin ?

Under 1k,chrome hardware is standard and no inlays is a free option.

I was going to say Carvin until I realized he was in Germany.

I just ordered this yesterday. I like the no inlay look too but I already have five Carvins without inlays

Yeah, the location is bad for that sadly. A Carvin would be nice, I gues...

If you know someone around here ok you can always pay them $50 or something to receive the guitar from Carvin and then ship it to you. It would be way cheaper than going through a dealer there. I would offer but being in Canada it will cost more for shipping (both times) than through someone in the US.

The Epiphone Matt Heafy Les Paul is pretty basic, and even has the Axcess heel which makes it a little nicer to play. They're heavy as a bag of bricks, but they sound that way too.

It's not too expensive either, as far as I'm aware. Even here in Australia it's not too pricey.

Schecter Solo with the offset dot inlays is pretty close to what you said you wanted.

That Washburn is sexy as well :hbang:

I think what you're after is the Gibson Les Paul Studio Gothic Morte.

Les Paul, all black, no inlays, big sound etc.

I really like the look of a les paul, but I hate the location of the switch and all the knobs.

The issue (aside from the switch) I have with the Washburn one is that it's not a stoptail bridge. Stoptail bridges is like one of the cooler things about lp type guitars.
