Hey, so ive been looking for a new guitar and still can't decide as i have to order them in from local Guitar shop, so cant try them all out.
I will probably change the pick-ups later once i have the money.

I play post hardcore and id prefer without a Floyd but dont mind eitha way.

So my budget is around £350 - £450 (£500 at a push)

ESP LTD M-100FM Left Handed - £349.00 + EMG's- 81/60

Ibanez RG370DXL - £355.00 + EMG 81/60
^^^^^^^^^^
Ibanez RG370DZL - £409.00 (Whats the difference between the two?)

Schecter Demon 6 - £418.99 < Most interested, but like ESP style necks)

Schecter Omen extreme - £388.99

If anyone else has other options please mention!

Thanks so much!

Do you definately want to buy new? with your budget I'd say its definately worth looking at the used market. I know nothing beats that brand new guitar excitement but there are some bargains to be had out there.

Yeah, definitely go used. Indonesian ibbies can't compare to used Japanese Ibbies in the same price range. Go on eBay and search for some 90s era Ibanez. You'll certainly find something in your price range that will smoke any of those new guitars you have listed ;)

Couldn't you arrange for the guy to send it to a nearby postal depot?
He might accept cash or a cheque, you never know!

I emailed him its pay pal payment only unless cash on pick-up but its so far away.

This is the only decent prestige ive seen on 'bay since ive been looking (a couple of months) hence the reason im more about going new.

'If' i was to go new what would be the best option to go with?

I can also push to a Schecter Damien 6 which comes to 465 (pound)

Thanks.

Consder mid 90's era Ibanez as well...RG550's, 570's can be had for not a lot of dough that can easily rival any Prestige model.
