I think that Youthanasia is the height of Mustaines songwriting career. That album is so perfect and I always get a certain feeling listening to it. Addicted to chaos and a tout le monde are 2 favorites from that album but there are a lot of other great songs too. :yesway:

"Peace Sells", with RIP a close second, "Killing" third, "So Far..." 4th, and, well, everything else.

always went different ways then the rest... rust in peace is more the totally insane metal edge, but overall I prefer countdown to extinction more...

For me, I had a hard time between Rust in peace and Peace sells... but who's buying?.

However, since Peace sells... but who's buying? was one of the first tapes I ever bought, the music has magic to me...it's pretty "raw" compared to the polished Rust in Peace.

I can't tell you how many times I listened to those 2 tapes while pushing a lawnmower!!

Definitly a close one between RIP and Peace Sells...but I went with RIP. I just can't get over how amazing the album sounds all the way through. Metal would not be the same without it.

Rust In Peace. When I heard that for the first time at age 13 it totally blew my mind. The solo in 'Lucretia' still makes my head spin...:hbang:

I was pretty sure that a couple of their records wouldnt get any votes... guess what albums. :D

Risk, Cryptic Writings and um The World Needs a Hero?

I actually like The World Needs a Hero and Risk also has at least 1 song I like (Breadline).

The System Has Failed is an awesome album.
