I'm debating on getting one of the followings guitars:
1) Parker "Fly Mojo" (Transparent Cherry ),
2) Parker DF724
3) A custom built Halo (6 string)
4) or perhaps a SChecter (not sure of witch model to get)
5) or ???????????
"Hard Tail or not doesn't matter much, coil taps are nice (hence the SGR models).
My price ranges is around $2.7 K, not including the case.
I would much rather have a "Tobacco/Honey/Ruby" burst style finish. I just have way to damn many "Stealth/Satin" black finish guitars. LOL
there's probably a butt tons of guitars that I may have overlooked so any suggestions would be appreciated .

I'm a big fan of Parkers, but aren't you nervous with the shop having closed up recently? Now I admit -- it's caused me to buy Parkers (as backups), but I don't think everyone thinks as highly of Parkers as I do.

That said, they have promised to be there to service them, so you should not be nervous.

Schecters are very good too. I'll just throw this out there:

You may want to look at PRS, too. Their SE and S2 lines are excellent bang-for-the-buck, especially used.

What price range? Used or new? What kind of music?

If you are willing to pay that much money, i wouldn't go for Schecter personally.
Much better guitars out there:
High end Jackson, PRS, Suhr, Mayones, Music Man, Carvin, etc.
