Missed out on a used rg652ahm prestige today by minutes. I was in an offer battle and didn't want to go above $940 and was countered $949.00 - I stopped to take a shower and 10 minutes later it sold. If one of you snagged it, nice work.

It's like the 1 outta 2 fucking times a year I'm actually feeling like playing guitar I can't figure out my computer shit because I use it so infrequently and have no idea what I'm doing, and I have no amp set up at the moment to use instead. Fuck's sake.

Also I've been spending way too much time on my phone lately.

Lost the allen head screw for my bridge saddle on my 6 string. Been struggling setting up my guitar, as embarrassingly, I"ve never done it 😅

Given that it's a 6 string the best set-up is probably setting it up with a comfortable spot in a gig bag or hard case and leaving it alone. ;)

100% I do this with all my guitars and I've never had any problems with them
i'M a MuSiCiaN

For real though are you sure it's the saddle the needs to be tweaked? IME saddle adjustments only need to be made very, very infrequently and usually if you think you need to tweak saddle height what you actually need to tweak is your truss rod.

I've never done my own setups, so I'm experimenting. And the action ruler I have has a little table for High/medium/medium-low/etc with recommended settings, so I'm just doing a tour of it all for the halibut.
I first went as low as I could because I want to put as little effort into fretting as possible, but quickly found I can't do full step bends. So I'm bouncing up and down the action, having fun with it.

Not exactly my idea of "fun", but definitely worth messing around with to get used to setting stuff up 👍

Once again, my wife's Hyundai is victim to the "Kia Boyz" TikTok theft challenge. Unlike the first time, they weren't able to finish the job, so I found it parked where I left it but with a broken rear window and lock cylinder.

Now the key won't turn so I basically have to finish the thief's job for them so I can get this thing into the garage before my HOA has it towed... :noplease:

These cars have such stupid design flaws. My disappointment is immeasurable.

*quietly crosses off the Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage from the list of cars I've been looking at replace mine*

Just get a basic-mobile RAV4 or a CRV with a "who rescued who" magnet on it
I'm leaning towards the Mazda CX-5, maybe the Nissan Rogue, but I'm a bougie bitch so I need at least the middle to second highest trim level. Not gonna lie, the Mazda is the top contender because they offer ventilated seats, and my swass will appreciate it in the summer.

Have you considered a Lincoln Aviator Black Label? They have just the right amount of bouge.

I nixxed the luxury brands from my list early on because they either a) take premium fuel or b) have shit fuel efficiency. I'm really over paying for premium fuel.

Update on the Hyundai:

After searching YouTube for tutorials on drilling out a lock and finding none that explained it thoroughly (probably a good thing), I figured it out through trial and error. Since I didn't know what I was doing I made a real mess of the lock tumbler but I was able to start the car with a screwdriver and get it in the garage before dealing with the fees and hassles of parking enforcement. I'm calling that a win.

I will likely scrap this thing now since I don't have time to fix it or deal with whatever characters on Craigslist would be interested in buying it. Doubt the difference would be more than a few hundred bucks anyway.

Yeah... my wife and I are both done with Hyundai/Kia. I would say she got her money's worth out of this thing - bought it new in 2012 and got over 200,000 miles out of it since then. The drivetrain itself has been pretty solid actually and still runs strong with just a little piston slap starting to manifest in one cylinder. Better than the domestic cars I've owned but still not as good as my old Integra at 300,000 miles.

Our issue is more some hassles that have come up along the way. Obviously the security issue we experienced, but also things like needing to pull the whole steering column out to replace a rubber bushing that cost literally $1, or the most recent recall notice we got that says the brake master cylinder can leak fluid onto a fuse and randomly light the car on fire.   At least they warned us about that one in advance. They should have told everyone to buy a Club for their steering wheel when the theft trend started, but they didn't and who knows how much more that's going to hurt their brand...
