Wierd tuners?

I was completely blown away by this tuner design

It says on the website...either Planet Waves or Hipshot depending on what model.

I believe he's probably referring to these. Although I can't remember who made them. I do think they are out of production though, IIRC.

Those are LSR tuners. I got them on one of my CS Jacksons. I love them. You just clamp the string down in them sorta like Schaller locking tuners. Very fast and easy to change strings.

I believe they stopped production and we're going to move into a new shop and then start up again, but I'm not sure if they have returned yet.
