This should not be taken too seriously, just based on observations when listening thru my speakers.

Mixing experiment: Lacks bass and thus sounds a bit thin and weak.

Intro idea (w lead): Again lacks that low end thought it's not bad.

Melodic mix 2: Kick drum is clipping, possibly too much low end on it or just the level.

Melodic mix test: Favourite mix

Melodic Intro v2: The rhythm guitar sounds a bit weak.

Riff idea 2: Pretty much the same as Intro idea (w lead)

Overall I'd say it's good :yesway:, I know from my own experience you can never get professional studio quality at home unless you own a studio.
They're better than my mixes, perhaps you could lend me your ears and tell me what you think about my try?

I need to get some fucking studio quality monitors!!!

Thanks for the feedback. I've spent a lot of time trying to find a good distorted bass sound to put in the mix, but i havent found anything i really like.

Your stuff sounds pretty good, you just need to work on the drum sound.

I also wish I had studio quality monitors. :squint:

And yeah I really need to get my drums sorted out.
