Yeah, it sounds like porn music for the first minute or so, but at about 1:40 it gets incredibly badass.

I don't know if this clip has been posted before, but this guy has some of the fastest fingers I've seen & he seems very articulate & precise on this piece.

i agree that he is really talented, but his music is boring as hell.

insane chops doesn't mean a goddamn thing unless you can make interesting music.

and he has a terrible hair.

My favorite part is the last minute towards the end. I dig the phrasing there.

Oh, I completely agree. He does have some pretty insane chops though, and has seemed to find a nice niche for himself as an instructional teacher.

He reminds me a lot of Rusty Cooley. Much the same way I really can't get into Cooley's music, there's no denying he's an incredible technical badass.

Actually, I thought this piece was very musical. Some of his other stuff is much less so. He's really an amazing talent, and it's too bad (musically, but probably not financially) that he got into the instructional video thing rather than finding a strong group of musicians who could push him a bit.

He was in Nitro, who were a hair-metal band, but they broke up in '92.

He's really good, but his voice gets on my nerves sometimes. It's weak and nasally, and it makes him sound like a nerd whenever he talks.

I saw him live about two months ago, he's fucking incredible. He's a really cool guy too. He signed my UV as well.

Great clip. His 'No Boundaries' and 'Planet Gemini' albums are both really good, although I wish he'd hire a real drummer to play on his stuff more, rather than that crappy-sounding drum machine he usually uses.

I actually quite like some of the songs off the "No Boundaries" album. Thanks for posting that, now I gotta finish learning the song. :yesway:
