...and without the rounded body sides. I swear I'd own 4 of these were it not for those damn body sides.

i actually love the rounded body sides, very comfortable to me. i do wish carvin 7's would at the very least have all the options of their 6 strings... non-rounded body sides, reissue pointy headstock, fretboard radius options, OFR7 bridges, string thru body TOM style bridges, piezos, etc. ...

Could you describe your dream guitar please?

Well... if I won more then 5000$ I would build this:

RG style body and head
NeckThrou
5 pc. Rosewood/Wenge neck
Ebony fingerboard (no inlays)
Buckeye Burl top
Mahagony body
Black hardwear
Ibanez S type of jack on the guitar's top

Again, sorry for my english...

Thats practically what I would ask for. I have to have the wizard neck and an OFR though. Transparent purple w/black hardware and invader conmbo also.

A 7 string ESP horizon, mahogany with 81-7/707 with some kind of cool finish.

like this only with 2 pickups and a fixed bridge

Those are both ass-kicking guitars. Hail yeah! :yesway:

Personally, I would like to have a shiny, golden banjo. I would use to play "happy birthday" to all my friends in the spirit world. :agreed:

eh, I've been drinking. :flame:

That's really what I meant to say, just have the options that your six string have, problem solved.

...Now could you imagine a Carvin California Top as a 7, whoa nelly....

If I'm looking for a dark and crunchy sounding guitar with smooth highs... what type of wood sould I choose for neck/fingerboard/body and what type of construction etc?????????????????????????????????

Well I'm sure I would use a 27" scale.
