Tennessee, home of hillbillies and halfstacks.
Mine would be a 7-string version of the Gutierrez Juggernaut that I have.

mahogany body
rosewood neck-through
ebony fretboard and headstock over-lay
25.5" scale, 24 xtra jumbo stainless frets
4 x 3 Gutierrez headstock with planet waves locking tuners
graphite nut
single layer white binding on fretboard and headstock
LED side fret markers, no fretboard inlays
Tone Pros TOM with string through
dual humbuckers (EMG 81-7 bridge, 707 neck)
single volume, single tone & three-way blade type switch
natural finish

Basically like the guitar below with slightly different woods and one more string.

If memory serves the Ibanez is Rob Balducci's custom. Why it's not in production is completely beyond me.

Yup, that's one of Balducci's Ibanez customs. It's not in production because they can't sell it for 50x what it costs to build. This IS Ibanez remember :agreed:

This would have to be:

Body type: Neck-Through Rhoads body
Body construction: Mahogany w/ Quilted Maple top
Neck: Mahogany or Maple (either or)
Headstock: Reversed w/ binding-matches finish on body
Fretboard: Ebony or Rosewood w/ binding
Frets: 24 jumbo
Scale length: 25.5 or 26.5
Nut: locking
Pickups: EMGs/SDs/Dimarzios/etc. (don't know what I would want yet)
Tuners: Sperzel or Schaller locking
Bridge: lo-pro Floyd or Kahler (whatever is easier to manage)
Controls: 1 volume, 3 or 5 way switch (depending on pups)
Inlays: side are needes, it depends when it comes to the rest though
Hardware color: black
Finish: Blue Burst (always looks fantastic w/ quilted tops...it's like looking into an ocean)

I think that does it. One would think one who wants a custom guitar would know EXACTLY what they want, but...:noplease:. Oh well.

It would most certainly be Jackson made, but their 25% custom shop price increase actually did go through so I won't own a custom Jackson for a very long time. This my dream 7 string though...

SLSMG body - more carved top
Silverburst finish
27" scale sperzel locking tuners
Mahogany neck, mahogany wings on the body
Ebony fretboard
White JacksonStars NASL style inlays, white neck & headstock binding, bone nut
String through body tune-o-matic bridge
EMG 707 bridge and neck
One push-pull volume knob (push bridge pull neck pickup)
18 volt pickups

I am putting in the order for an ESP custom horizon with these specs pretty soon here :D it was almost $1800usd less then the Jackson.

That's what sucks about Ibanez. If that Balducci or the one they Broderick was released I'd be willing to bet they'd sell a lot of them. But Ibanez keeps sitting on the same old designs.
