this in that finish, (i wish schecter would do a finish like that, really dark bursts look so great) accept with one volume knob, a 3 way switch, and regular dot inlays, satin back of the neck, and an ebony board.

also with the controls set up kind of like the ebmm petrucci with the toggle switch really easy to get to

something along the lines of a seven string version of the wes borland signature model but with a more exagerated body offset and a smaller less square version of the tumour like growth on the origional

I'd go with a custom job, neck-through, black bound ebony fretboard, LED fretdots (just for fun), S-style body, one of the new FR trems, satin black finish, two EMG pups, volume knob, pup switch, cutoff switch.

I already have the S7420 upgraded with a lopro edge and dimarzio's so the other would be a JS 7 mahogany body, but that is likely to never happen. I would also like the Apex 1 and an S7320. If I can get the cash before it's gone I'll buy Shannon's..

My own custom model of course! The specs are:

27" scale, 5 piece maple/wenge neckthru, (flamed) ash body, flamed maple top, Hipshot 7-string Contour Trem (non-recessed), a wide, thick neck with a flat back (U profile), ebony fretboard with a 430mm radius, Seymour Duncan pickups (or Bare Knuckles, haven't decided yet).

...and I'll be ordering that in a few weeks the body shape will be something very unique, I drew it myself and sent it to the luthier. The neck will be thick and wide because I play classical guitar mainly, I'm so used to it that thin necks feel very awkward to me. That doesn't mean that it will be like a baseball bat though.

OK. I wasn't going to wade into this thread, but here goes:

This guitar:

as a seven string, finished like, and most of the electronics from either of these (they both have piezos, coil splits and Variax -- I can do without the MIDI):

but with a 28-5/8" to 25-1/2" fan on the frets and an infinite radius fretboard.

Hmmm actually I think the only things I haven't bought that I'd like to have are:

1) Ibanez Universe PWH
2) a version of the KxK I have coming but with a Kahler
3) a seven string Telecaster (would have to be a custom build)
4) a seven string Steinberger GM-7TA (doesn't exist, but damn would it be cool to have that guitar in a seven...)
