Of course, I could definitely fit more albums on here, but you made me choose only 10. I take no shame in doubling up on these bands though, because .... you they're amazing bands. :yesway:

Calculating infinity
Scenes from a memory
Miss machine
Permanent waves
And justice for all

That's all I got for now.

American Idiot-Green Day, it's the album that got me to pick up a guitar, it has to be in my top 10.

I just realized I'm not as music as I used to be, because it took me forever to just think of 10 albums I listen to all the songs on.

I'm going to take this from the angle that it's the 10 albums to show someone what music I like.

  • Isis - Oceanic
  • Gorillaz - Demon Days
  • Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power
  • Meshuggah - Koloss
  • Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine
  • Vision of Disorder - Vision of Disorder
  • The Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
  • Refused - The Shape of Punk to Come
  • My Bloody Valentine - You Made Me Realise EP (If it has to be albums then Swervedriver - Raise)
  • Mastodon - Crack the Skye

I think it's a fine list, there are other bands but I think for only 10 albums it offers diversity.

Jeez. I'm not sure I could pick ten - my listening habits fluctuate quite a bit, depending on what's been released lately and what mood I'm in. If I had to pick 10 albums that would sort of explain my tastes, this week it might look something like this:

Miles Davis: Kind of Blue
Samothrace: Life's Trade
Earth: The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull
Nik Bartsch's Ronin: Lyria
Baroness: Blue Record
Sonny Sharrock: Ask the Ages
Steely Dan: Aja
Tool: Lateralus
Metallica: s/t
Pelican: The Fire in Our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw
