    It was checked by a friend and he said he cleaned the pots, there's something else wrong with them.. It would be cool to give it a full service, but no one does that in my area. Should I send it back to Peavey? 😅

    Peavey XXL solid state I love it, it has cool features, but all the knobs are cracking, sometimes it does weird things, and the clean chanel has a minimal distortion all the time.

    Just an idea... I mainly use pedals for my distorted tone. I thought if my SS amp head dies, I could probably by any other SS head, since their distorted tone doesn't matter, and hopefully their clear chanel doesn't have much EQ coloration. Here comes the idea. If I know it right, bass heads...

    I don't meant literally that it hurts my ears. Probably I can't dial it in probably. As I mentioned it, if I roll back the highs, then it gets muddy. Maybe it's a certen frequancy that I don't like and I can get rid of it. Or maybe I just prefer the hear a more ambient sound from the room...
