I think you think I'm taking this way more personally than I am, man. People seem to mistake sarcasm and humor for hurt feelings. If I was really upset, I just wouldn't be here, lol.
The frustrating part of the internet is, tone is not usually apparent unless you put things like "lol, haha"...
Finances are a second passion of mine, though I treat mine quite differently than the average person 😂
For a front page that started off with a bunch of dudes saying "AKCHTUALLY" and USMarine revealing he hate watches all my socials, this actually is best case scenario 😁
People will probably...
Hey folks, just figured I would drop this here, as I'm sure many of you would appreciate the insanity contained in this video.
Some of you may remember me posting in this forum way back when all I had was a Gibson LP studio and a couple Peavey amps. As you can see, things have come a long way...
I
I mention in the video it is a noisy amp. I told Reinhold this, as well. I mentioned he would do well to put a noise gate in his higher gain amplifiers, because the Helios Eclipse has the same noise issue, With that being said, it's only out of control if you're really pushing the onboard...
the originals could basically only cop the thicker tones from this amp. They were tough to tighten up and get a modern tone out of unless you really knew how to shape them with proper pedals
Hey fellas,
Figured I'd drop by and put my Uber Ultra playthrough here.
I've seen a lot of discussion around this amp, as well as a lot of people either being disappointed or confused by the controls, and how to dial in a good tone.
I will admit, it's very easy to get bad sounds out of this amp...
Here's my video
I enjoyed the amp overall. Basically a big, 100 watt MT15 with a dedicated 2nd OD channel based on a Dumble ODS. I think the amp does great at the "Wall of sound" thing and overall has a very pleasing high gain sound. It is noisy, much like the MT15, so you will more than...
Nope, hated that even more than the Fortin Amps. Lol. Wanted to love it because I love Ola and his content, but man, that thing sounded like hot garbage to my ears. It was pretty similar to the Natas, only with no saturation and even more high mid quackiness.
Really? I've literally never, ever seen one go anywhere near $300, and I search for them on a daily basis. I get what you're saying, the Natas is overpriced for sure, and you can get a lot more kit for your money elsewhere, but I don't think this is actually accurate.
Also, for the record, I'm with you guys on the reasons many don't like Fortin. Internet hype, circuit rip offs, absurd marketing, all on top of a sound that I don't typically get into. None of that changes the fact that I still think this is a good sounding pedal, albeit way overpriced.
I grabbed one just to try out on the channel, as I am not normally a fan of Fortin stuff. It came in today, and while It's not my favorite distortion/preamp pedal (tie between the BE-OD Deluxe and SLO pedals) it's honestly EXTREMELY impressive.
It's very much got the Fortin mid thing going on...
