well, i'm still working on the whole neck thru thing right now... my tank i use is only big enough to paint the body, so i am not able to swirl the body and back of the neck. But, i think i would be able to do a neck thru swirl if it is just the body you're wanting done. message me and we'll get it worked out! glad you dig my work!
hey there. i expressed interest in your thread about having a guitar of my own swirled. i was wondering if you can do neck-thru models? the guitar i originally had in mind was my 7 string with a bolt on neck, but i dont think im going to hang on to that particular guitar forever. the one im thinking of now is an LTD AX-350 and i love the feel of it. its all black right now but i think it would look great swirled.
i know nothing about how this process works so it might be a huge pain in the ass if its not a bolt on guitar, but i just thought id ask anyway.

Well, like I said, I don't know which humbucker I'll be having in the neck. I'll use a 1527 neck I bought straight from Lithuania from plyta (member here), and I chose black stain for color. It's gonna be oiled and I expect it to be non-glossy, but I don't have a clear idea of how it's going to turn out.
I'm still in doubt as far as the neck pickup goes. Not only I haven't tried out anything (3rd world country sucks), but also, I need something with compatible output when compared to the BKP.Hey man... you're buying a mahogany Sims body as well, aren't you?
What will you be having for neck pickup? I've ordered a Painkiller for bridge, but I'm in doubt whether I'll put a Rio Grande hunbucker for true single coil split or if I will choose something cheaper.
Will you put a fixed bridge? I'm thinking of a Hipshot bridge myself.
