Yeah they lock it because it becomes personal to people. But I see your point about those issues and I would have done the same if it didn't do the things that I wanted it to do.

That's bizarre that your getting issues on your laptop. I honestly haven't tried on my finace's laptop, but I have an Imac that is over 2 years old and can run logic 9/superior and UX2 just fine. Video editing isn't much of an issue, but never done HD.

If you have the time, try to see if reinstalling OSX will fix those issues. But I understand if your already frustrated with it.
